I found the background on the girls in the book really helped to understand what makes them do what they do.
The Newbie Orientation chapter is practical and to the point. I agree that a week is just not long enough. As soon as I can save enough, I'll try for 2-3 weeks. I spent my time in Pattaya, so the Walking Tour segment was quite useful.
I like what you said about Face. I took my girl and her friend out on a tour. It went over well and was a happy day for all. I gained great face. I think that if had spent more than a week (all I had) with the girl I was with, it would have been easy to become more emotionally involved.
I've got to tell you, my trip had to be one of the best weeks of my life as I couldn't stop smiling and really feeling alive.
I'm a sucker for the girlfriend experience and spent all my time with the same girl. At the end of my trip she insisted on going with me to the airport (two hours each way) just to see me off.
